Maybe I hate Maybelline

See what I did there? I replaced their commercial jingle with what I really feel about their company. I have LOVED Maybelline's Pure Make Up line. It was based with water, non comedogenic, covered all flaws without adding a concealer and NEVER broke me out. So how does Maybelline repay me and my self esteem for my devoted following? They discontinue the line. Yes thats right folks they stopped making it. At first I thought Target had just not gotten their shipment in so I searched Rite Aide (2), Walmart, and Kroger. Nothing. So that lead me on the search for what I would replace it with. Let me just tell you replacing a best friend is HARD! I found Almay's color match... it goes on white and then changes to my skin tone. Weird! Well that broke me out. So then I went to Maybelline's Dream Mouse. That broke me out even worse. Then I switched to Cover Girl but lets be honest only 15 yr olds wear it and they don't have one that matches my color real well. So now I'm onto my 4th foundation in like 2 weeks and it is Revlon ColorStay. We will see. The trickest thing about it all is that NONE of the other brands or the lines that they offer say non-comedogenic which is very crucial for my face.

While I think I've come to terms with it every time I go into a store I stop by the make up section to see if they have any stragglers.
