Day 4... Week 2

Made it through week 1 and most of week 2 and things are going well.  It has been difficult to be away from everyone back in Charleston but amazing to be around all the fabulous people here.  I share a small apartment with two dear women... one my bestest, Melissa and the other, quickly climbing the charts, Kerry.  Each night and most mornings we pow wow and talk about our day, what is going on, and we get to laugh A LOT! 

Tonight we are throwing a game night party in our apartment, it is more of an after party to our Assignment Team party at the main apartment complex.  After that fizzles out we plan on coming back to our place and playing some board games.  It should be a great time then tomorrow is my DAY OFF!!!!!!   Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!  I get from after dinner set up tonight to before dinner pre-sets tomorrow around 5pm.  I'm so stinkin excited.  I'm going to sleep in till 8 (oooo yay!)  get up and swim, I'm hoping to head into Lexington and go for a hike at the Natural Bridge.  If I take pictures I'll post them if not then you'll just need to google it and check it out for yourself lol.  

Everyone on staff here for the month and year round is amazing.  I'm excited for the new friendships that I'm building with other staff and also with the work crew kids.... they truly do have a servant heart and if I can brag for a second I think the dining hall servers are the cream of the crop.  I'm slightly struggling with having to be "the boss" and not feeling like they know me well...  they haven't really gotten to see a lot of my fun and craziness...  if you're reading thins you are probably like WOW then they don't know you at all!!!!  Don't worry I've busted out catch phrase with some of them and that seems to be helping LOL.
