A Prayerful Heart

Lately God has been doing something truly awesome in my prayer life. At times I feel like I'm asking for the same things, complaining that things aren't going according to my timeline, or I'm just plain ole bored (GASP I said it I get bored with prayer). Lately though God has been spicing things up and I'm loving it. I always pray for kids, their needs, their desires, their aches and pains and I pray for those I'm around on a regular basis. I am thankful that God makes prayer so easy sometimes. He has been placing wonderful people on my heart lately, names of people that I don't talk to anymore, names of people that I don't see, names of people that I really never was even close with. The even better thing is that they aren't generic prayers He has placed wonderful things on my heart to pray for them.

I want to be a prayerful woman. A woman who is praying not her prayers but those that Christ has ordained I want them to line up with his plans for those around me. I love it when names pop into my head driving down the road and I know exactly how I want to lift them up.

My prayer for those who read this blog is that God would reveal Himself to you today. That He would make you a light in a dark world. That He would provide amazing people to encourage and spur you on daily and that He would make you thirst for Him more and more every day :)
