Honeymoon

After an amazing wedding with fabulous people.  We headed south... Punta Cana.  We spent the week being the biggest bums ever.  We spent our time at an all inclusive resort, Iberostar Grand Bravaro.  To say we were spoiled is an understatement and I am fully convinced that the Lord has kept me from "having money" because I would no doubt never do anything for myself.  I really thought Brian was not going to do well here because he doesn't rest well.  The first day was tricky for him but by the end of the week he had fully adopted the WASP mentality and no longer wanted to do anything for himself.  I was so thankful he was able to relax.   My favorite thing about this was being completely disconnected.  No phones, no texting, no other people, no television (only because the first day Brian tried to turn it on but it didn't work we assumed it didn't work except he just hit the wrong button because 15 minutes before we departed I tried again and boom one button... it came on hahaha).  It was just Brian and I lounging, hanging out, resting, and laughing.  With no television in our room we talked and laughed a lot!  It was such a sweet time for our relationship and I can only imagine that this is what honeymoons used to be like and I LOVED it!

Our bathroom part 2.  Those huge windows overlook our balcony and onto private villas.  They had automatic blinds.  One push of a button and the room was as private as can be.  How fun!
