Campers Arrive Today

It is week one day one and we arrived to camp yesterday morning around 10.  I may or may not have been late because I got lost, hey I'm not the town runner anymore (circa 2005).  Last week's campers left yesterday at noon, last month's assignment team departed about 2, and our team for this month begin arriving at 1.  We turn camp over so very quickly and I often wonder how? But it works, like a well oil machine.

I'm not great at sleeping, it is just a fact, but add in nervousness about my new job or excitement that campers arrive today and get to hear the greatest love story and have the best week of their life and I'm up at 5am.  So I thought I'd do a little blogging before I dart off to brunch.

The view from our porch and where you will find me in the mornings: QT  + coffee + rocking chair = HEAVEN
I would love to be an amazing blogger and do a week at camp BUT the amazing blogger Bethany Ward couldn't come with us this month so I will use what she did last year on our assignment at Rockbridge.  To see what happens each day at camp click here, it is worth it I promise.
