"Sin Represas"

In some circles, ok all, I am known for over analyzing. It is a blessing a curse.  Gives me the ability to not get myself into sticky situations but also gives me the ability to DRIVE MYSELF CRAZY, it also gives me some pretty good insight.  I think I'll it keep it for the latter and try to figure out how to make it stop driving me crazy.   I am also known for loving documentaries.  I find people absolutely fascinating.  Their stories: how they think, the situations they have placed themselves in (good or bad), people they surround themselves with, and their take on life all woven together to create their story.  Thus the reason I love blogs!

Today I watched 180 degrees South.  Great documentary on a journey to Patagonia.  In the movie they told the story of a grassroots movement to stop the building on dams on Chilian rivers.  The movement is named "Sin Represas".  Translated " Without Dams".   Ok this all may be a stretch but my immediate though... SIN REPRESSES! It places a dam between God and us...  but without the dam, without the sin... we are in perfect relationship with God.  Like a river free to flow, free to be unblocked winding around rocks, over rocks, creating new streams, creating life.  Etc.  The river analogy is perfect really.

Something to think about.
