One mile or a million away... distance doesn't matter!

Oh my dearest Katey lives in Florida now, going to art school there. She is such a gifted photographer so it is where she needs to be but I'll be honest I miss her! This morning we got together at our Paneras and had a video chat date. This was so much fun! People def don't understand what is going on but none the less makes for some great moments and a little face time with someone that I never get to see! What did we do before ichat and Macs?


Top Ten Things from Katey and I's Panera date!

10. Katey had a palm tree behind her (I am not lying) and shorts and a t-shirt on... I had a wall behind me and a fleece on! DANG IT!!!!
9. Hearing Katey talk about her YL girls and their upcoming fall weekend and how nervous/excited about their weekend.... I love that her heart for Christ reflects so much in how she loves these girls so well!
8. Laughing by ourselves but with each other lol. We looked like we were laughing alone but in all reality we were having a major giggle fest with one another!
7. A man walked behind Katey and stared at me for awhile with a confused look on his face... I thought he was gone because he was out of the picture so I commented on it... turns out he was right by Katey's table standing behind the computer and heard the whole thing... oops!
6. A little girl looked (stared) at me for awhile then went over to her mom and told her that girl is talking to herself. LOL LOL
5. Speaking on how God gives us men in our lives who spur us on and encourage us to hold out for our true "treasure" ... that men who are captivated and in love with their God are out there!!!
4. Talking about how God meets the desires He places in our hearts.

Katey originally was sitting inside but decided to move outside where it was less crowed (by less crowded there were only 30 or so people out there lol) so she walked with her computer on and talked to me the whole time switching and gave me a visual tour of her Panera- people were def confused lol.
2. Random bird flew at Katey while we were talking.... lots of laughing followed and more strange looks from people.
1. Lady at the next table interrupted and had Katey turn her computer so her mom could see, I got to meet her and wave and say hello... making friends in Florida while I'm still in WV! HILARIOUS!!!!
