Birthdays, concerts, road trips, and laughter

This past Thursday I made my way down to Huntington via some friends from Lexington. When I was on assignment at Rockbridge this past July I had the fabulous pleasure of working alongside 4 fun people (these are in alphabetical order so no one thinks I've ranked them lol): Chad, Julie, Hypes, and Tex. On their road trip to The Avett Brothers concert they stopped in Charleston to pick me up. It was a fun night of birthdays, concerts, road trips, and laughter.

We stayed with our friends Liz and Ben Allen (who have recently moved to Huntington to start YL there). Max (their dog) celebrated his birthday while we were there and he celebrated hard core eating most of the pumpkin/chocolate chip bread that Julie made while we were out at dinner... oops maybe the table wasn't the best place for that! Melissa (my love) came down from Bridgeport, and her sister Allison (who goes to Marshall) joined us for our fabulous less than 24 hours extravaganza. We ate dinner at Fat Patty's, went to the Keith Albee theatre for the concert and then concluded the night with a BOARD GAME- you knew that was coming.

We played Imaginiff one of my fav games to play (there are few that aren't my fav). It was great seeing everyone. It is always fun to get together with friends who you don't get to see very often. Thanks everyone for a great time!!!!!

Pictures to come from our evening!
