It's all happening

One of my favorite movies of all time is "Almost Famous", great music, great plot, great actor/actresses.  One of Penny Lane's (Kate Hudson) lines throughout the movie is "Its all happening!"  That is where I feel like I am.  After spending 30 days being quiet and not sharing what I'm learning (I slipped once or twice after the women's weekend), but keeping the main prayers that I had silent.  I feel oddly free and that things are happening, actually its all happening.  God has quieted my heart these past thirty days and we've worked through some of MY issues, we know He doesn't have any!  So I'm free to discuss what next year is going to look like for me.  There are a few things that are still to be worked out, just details really lol (ok probably a lot more than just details).  I feel free though from the what ifs, the where's, when's, and hows.  I feel like God has just said "Here we go."  

Tonight I spent a great evening out with two dear friends (it started out as 6, but two had to go to bed and one had to drive them).  We laughed, listened to music, and did a quick talk about what is to come next year.  It is interesting how when you step back, remove yourself from the equation and just earnestly seek God and what He is telling you things begin to happen.  

NOW if you are shouting at your computer screen right now saying "ADRIENNE I'M DOING THAT, READING, PRAYING, LISTENING, AND NOTHING IS HAPPENING YOU ARE TELLING A LIE RIGHT NOW."  Take a deep breath in and rest assured that I did a lot of that screaming myself, for the past year actually, and surprisingly that past year seems like a brief second and doesn't really seem to matter all that much.  Sure the year counts, the ministry counts, the lessons learned, the time spent with others all that counts and those are dear sweet memories to me BUT the screaming and being frustrated a distant memory.  He is faithful and will show up and I look forward to Him doing that just keep screaming, take some breaths though because all that screaming gets your blood pressure up and He really won't hurry until He is ready!
