Psalm 104

 God has had me in Psalm 104 for a little over a week now.  At first it was just one verse, it captivated me, I was drawn to it.  

   "He waters the mountains from his upper chambers the earth is satisfied by the fruit of his work"

Then as I was getting ready for club last week God showed me two more verses.  I sent out a text to kids telling them about club that night and all it said was YL tonight, great stuff planned one word toilet.  While this information was important, I left out the most important part which was that I was giving a part 2 talk:  The Cross!!!!  Kids responded back with the usual hey I'll be there, or sorry can't make it.  Then I got something different.  

"Yea.  You are going to finish your talk right?"

All kids want is the truth and they are hungry for it.  I know I say this a lot, and most people in ministry I think do... but it has nothing to do with us.  It is truly God's timing that allows anyone to hear the Gospel and receive it.  Then as I began to pray and read Psalm 104 again these two verses JUMPED out:

"These all look to you to give them their food at the proper time.  When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things."

May your prayer be this week that God would open His hands and satisfy us with good things!!!!
