I-79

I am living on interstate 79 this week. I will be driving its glorious pavement three times in less than 7 days. Well I guess I should say I'll be driving it tomorrow but I've ridden on it two other times already this week. Thank goodness it doesn't have toll booths or I'd be broke!
Last Saturday my dear friend Shelly and I went up to the WVU game. We had tickets thanks to Kelly & Christi Smith. Two wonderful friends. You may be thinking- Adrienne @ a WVU game???? I know my thoughts exactly. I really just went to go to the Smith's tailgate. I've been hearing amazing things about it for at least three years now, so I finally cracked and checked it out. I had a BLAST. Of course the highlights had nothing to do with the actual game- which was a pathetic attempt at football I must say. Instead the highlights consisted of: Tacos in a Bag, Corn Hole, and the YMCA. That last one may be more of a nightmare v. highlight. Here are some pictures from the day.

     Tuesday, Ben and I, drove up to our regional meeting in Pittsburgh.  It was a long day.  We left at 6:30am and got back around 8pm that night.  Being in a car for 8 hours is exhausting.  

     Tonight I hit the road again after Hoover's Club.  Which I'm super excited about!!!!!   I'm heading up to Morgantown to spend the night @ the Landis' Hotel.  I won't even see general manager and part owner- John Landis.  His schedule is so crazy on Friday that he has to go to bed before I get there and be up and out of the house before I ever think about waking up.  He says it is his schedule- it could just be the guest!  :)   However I will hopefully get to spend at least 30 minutes with my lovely sister.  After a intern meeting on Friday I'm jumping back in my car and heading down 77 to Parchment Valley.  I'm looking forward to spending a weekend away.  I'll update next week!
